Non-Destructive Testing Engineer
An opportunity exists for a skilled engineer to work with non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques in the aerospace sector. This position is ideal for a candidate looking to utilize their technical skills and contribute to the growth of a leading company.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading testing, inspection, and certification company as they continue to expand their operations.

You will be trained and certified to gain EN 4179 certification, allowing you to inspect CFRP composite parts. This rare knowledge and skill set will provide a solid foundation for your career in the aerospace industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform Ultrasonic Testing (UT) on metallic and composite parts to meet client requirements.
  • Ensure safe and effective completion of work by being accountable for aspects of each activity/project.
  • Develop and maintain current company and client requirements, including Standards and Codes affecting conventional and advanced NDT techniques.
  • Produce timely written reports of inspections within the company's quality control system.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve project goals.

Job Requirements

  • UT Level 2 certification.
  • Other NDT methods are a bonus.

Salary: £43,000 - £63,000 per annum depending on experience.
