We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Educational Support Professional to join our client's Early Years Team in Poole, Dorset. As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the educational and developmental needs of young children, particularly those with special educational needs (SEN).

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and compassionate support professional to join our client's Early Years Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that enables every child to achieve their full potential.

The ideal candidate will possess a patient, non-judgmental, and supportive approach, with a focus on building trusting relationships with pupils and colleagues alike. They will also have experience working with children with SEN, including Autism, Complex Needs, and Medical Disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting teaching staff in delivering high-quality education to young children with SEN
  • Assisting with lesson planning, preparation, and implementation
  • Providing individualized support to pupils with complex needs
  • Contributing to a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Requirements:

  • Minimum GCSE grade 4 or above in English and Maths
  • Experience working with children with SEN, including Autism, Complex Needs, and Medical Disabilities
  • NVQ/CACHE/Early Years Certificate advantageous
  • Training in aspects of SEN, such as ADHD, Dyslexia, and Autism, beneficial
