Software System Tester Role Summary:

Join the Vitaprotech Group's physical access control development team as a Software System Tester. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.


About the Job:

As a Software System Tester, you will collaborate with software developers and business analysts to understand project requirements and create detailed test plans and test cases.

You will conduct various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing (UAT). You will identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.

You will develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, etc. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.


Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with software developers and business analysts to understand project requirements and create detailed test plans and test cases.
  2. Conduct various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  3. Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.
  4. Document test results, create detailed defect reports, and provide regular updates on testing progress.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Software Tester or in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
