Mental Health Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Support Specialist to join our committed community outreach team in Barrow. As a support worker, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with mental health needs and learning disabilities to live their best lives.
The role involves visiting service users in their own homes or in other settings, offering practical support to enable them to live independently while providing emotional support in accordance with their individual support plans.
Your responsibilities will include helping with daily living tasks such as cooking, appointments, medication, and money management.
You will work on a flexible rota, with both full-time and part-time hours available (37.5 hours per week). Having access to a vehicle is essential for this role, with mileage allowance paid.
