Learning Disability Inpatient Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Learning Disability Inpatient Practitioner to join our team at Devon Partnership NHS Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to individuals with learning disabilities and complex mental health needs.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing and a passion for working with individuals with learning disabilities. You will be responsible for assessing care needs, developing and implementing individual care plans, and providing leadership and management to the inpatient unit.
Key Responsibilities- Assess care needs and develop individual care plans
- Provide leadership and management to the inpatient unit
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care and support
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and policies
- Participate in service development and implementation
- Registered Nurse RNLD/RNM or dual qualified Registered Nurse RNLD and Social worker integrated practice
- Degree/HE Diploma level
- Experience of working with individuals with learning disabilities and complex mental health needs
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
