Job Title: Senior Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Psychologist to join our team at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust. As a Senior Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychological services to adult cancer patients, including inpatients and outpatients.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide individual therapy and group interventions to support patients and those affected by cancer across the lifespan.
  2. Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, including the use of psychological tests, neuropsychological tests, and semi-structured interviews.
  3. Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
  4. Provide supervision and training to junior staff members.
  5. Attend service meetings and contribute to the development of the clinical psychology service.

Requirements:

  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Clinical Psychologist.
  • Experience of working with adult cancer patients and their families.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
