Senior Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Psychologist to join our Paediatric & Young Adult Liver Service at King's College Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical psychology services to children and young people with liver conditions, from diagnosis to transition to adult services.
The post holder will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement integrated psychological care pathways, and will be responsible for the clinical supervision of junior staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical psychology, with experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults with medical needs.
The successful candidate will be a registered practitioner psychologist with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) and will have a doctoral level training in Clinical Psychology. Post-doctoral training in specialized areas of psychological practice, such as CBT or Motivational Interviewing, is also desirable.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality clinical psychology services to children and young people with liver conditions
- Develop and implement integrated psychological care pathways
- Provide clinical supervision to junior staff
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care
- Contribute to the development of the psychology service and the wider liver service
- Doctoral level training in Clinical Psychology
