Senior Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Psychologist to join our established psychology team within the Paediatric & Young Adult Liver Service at King's College Hospital (KCH).
Main Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality clinical psychology services to children and young people (0-25 years) receiving liver care at KCH, from diagnosis through to transition to adult services.
- Develop and implement integrated psychological care pathways in liver services at KCH, in collaboration with senior colleagues.
- Exercise autonomous professional responsibility for the assessment, treatment, and discharge of children and young people with complex psychological needs.
- Provide specialist psychological advice, guidance, consultation, and supervision to colleagues within the multidisciplinary team (MDT) and other professionals involved in the child's care.
- Contribute to the development of a high-quality, responsive, and accessible psychology service, advising both service and professional management on psychological and organizational matters.
- Doctoral level training in Clinical Psychology, accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS) and the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Registered with the HCPC with practitioner psychologist status - clinical, counselling, or health psychologist.
- Eligible for Chartered status of the BPS.
- Assessed experience of working as a qualified clinical psychologist, with clinical experience in the management of psychosocial aspects of acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Experience of working with a wide variety of client groups, across the whole life course, and presenting with the full range of clinical severity.
