About the Role

We are seeking a highly qualified Associate Professor of Special Events to join our faculty at Widener University. This is a full-time, tenure-track position that will teach a range of courses in special events, develop innovative course content, and conduct high-quality research in the field.

The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in Event Management or a related field from an accredited institution, demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and evidence of an active research agenda with a focus on event management and related fields.

This position offers a competitive salary of $95,000 - $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
