Hours: Morning sessions, 5 days a week
Pay: £12.90 - £13.55 per hour
Job Description:
Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Phonics Support Specialist to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a Phonics Support Specialist, you will work with students in a primary school setting, providing targeted support to help them develop their reading skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver phonics lessons to small groups of students, using evidence-based techniques to promote reading skills.
- Work closely with teachers to identify areas of need and develop tailored support plans.
- Provide one-to-one support to students who require additional help.
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve overall student outcomes.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications and training in education or a related field.
- Experience working with students in a primary school setting.
- Strong knowledge of phonics techniques and strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
