About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Security and Safety Professional to join our team at Accor Hotel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor staff access and ensure compliance with security protocols, preventing unauthorized entry into the hotel and maintaining accurate records of visitor documentation.
  • Issue and receive keys, create new staff IDs, and record relevant information.
  • Carry out regular patrols of back-of-house and front-of-house areas to ensure doors are locked or open as required and fire exits are clear.
  • Monitor CCTV and report any unusual activity to In-House Security for further investigation, while also performing bag searches of staff and contractors leaving the building and recording these in the Log Book.
  • Liaise with supervisors regarding the disabling of fire alarms during steam cleaning procedures.
  • Ensure all accidents and incidents are correctly recorded and reported, and injured persons receive either first aid or hospital treatment as necessary.
  • Monitor the Fire Alarm panel, Panic Alarm, and Showcase alarm panels, as well as door alarm panels.
  • Ensure a smooth handover at the end of each shift and maintain accurate records and the Security Log.
  • Adhere to all Health & Safety legislation by implementing safe working practices that benefit colleagues and yourself.
Requirements
  • 13 years' experience in the Hospitality Industry.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A confident and dynamic speaker able to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization.
  • Proven organizational skills, able to work independently and set deadlines with quality results.
  • Applicable job-related skills as per Accountable Duties.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence.
  • Valid First Aid Certificate (Desirable).
  • Addition Health & Safety SIA CCTV Defibrillator or Fire Marshall/Warden training or qualifications (distinct advantage).

Employment Details

This is a full-time position, and we do not offer remote work options. The estimated salary for this role is approximately £36,420 per annum.
