Service Desk Analyst
About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to join our dedicated team on a 12-month rolling contract. This role involves providing technical support to employees globally, with a focus on building strong relationships and resolving issues efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide timely and effective IT support via phone, email, and chat platforms.
- Create and manage support tickets, ensuring all activities are well-documented.
- Troubleshoot complex problems and escalate to higher support levels when necessary.
- Research and identify trends to improve service delivery.
- Follow up on open tickets to ensure timely resolution.
- Contribute to and utilize the company knowledge base.
- Collaborate with colleagues to provide training and act as a point of contact.
- Participate in quality reviews and internal projects.
- Occasionally assist with translation reviews.
- High School Diploma or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Familiarity with ITIL and ITSM frameworks.
- Previous experience in technical support roles.
- Fluent in German; additional languages such as Spanish, Italian, or French a plus.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to explain technical issues clearly.
- Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts and occasional bank holidays.
- Able to work from the office 50% of the time and have a reliable home internet connection.
$60,000 - $80,000 per year
Location:Global (with a focus on Germany)
