Job Title: Family Support Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Support Specialist to join our team in the North West of England. As a key member of our social work team, you will play a vital role in supporting vulnerable children and families.

The Role:

  • Manage a diverse caseload of allocated cases, providing thorough assessments and interventions tailored to individual needs.
  • Conduct assessments in line with legislation, policies, and procedures, ensuring the voices of children and young people are central to the assessment process.
  • Work collaboratively with partners to deliver services and support, promoting the welfare of children, young people, and adults.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, following administrative and financial procedures.
  • Receive regular supervision and engage in continuous professional development and training.
  • Contribute to the learning and development of social work students.

Requirements:

  • Social Work qualification with professional registration.
  • A strong understanding of child development and family support frameworks.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively with children, families, and professionals.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and adults.

Benefits:

As a Family Support Specialist with Networker Global Limited, you can expect a competitive salary, £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for growth and development in a supportive team environment.
