About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and communicative Receptionist to join our team at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Manage patient appointments, including checking in and out, and booking follow-up appointments.
- Register patients' attendance on our electronic patient record system.
- Handle patient inquiries and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including patient demographics and appointment details.
- Ensure that all reception areas are tidy and well-maintained.
- Work collaboratively with the team to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
Requirements
- Good basic educational qualifications (5 or more GCSE's including English and Maths Grade C or above) or equivalent qualifications.
- Administration experience and competent computer skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and organized, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
