About the Role

Digital Waffle is seeking an experienced IT Service Manager to lead and develop our SaaS operations team. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our SaaS environment, delivering exceptional service to both internal and external customers, and driving continuous improvement.


Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day management of the SaaS infrastructure, optimising performance, availability, and security.
  • Team Leadership: Build and develop a high-performing team, providing mentorship and guidance to support staff.
  • Customer Focus: Deliver exceptional service to both internal and external customers, meeting and exceeding expectations.
  • Financial Management: Manage the SaaS environment budget, identifying cost reductions and maximising return on investment.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of SaaS operations.
  • Compliance and Risk: Ensure adherence to security, governance, and compliance standards.


Requirements

  • Proven experience in managing IT operations within a SaaS environment.
  • Strong technical background, including knowledge of SQL Server, Apache Tomcat, and networking.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


Desirable Skills

  • Experience with ITIL frameworks.
  • Project management qualifications.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).
