Paediatric Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Derian House Children's Hospice. As a Paediatric Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to babies, children, and young people with life-limiting conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and develop individualised care plans to meet the unique needs of each child.
- Provide safe and effective care, adhering to our operating procedures and guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with our multi-disciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Participate in the supervision and assessment of designated staff, promoting professional development and growth.
- Contribute to the day-to-day management of quality assurance issues, reporting and recording incidents, and responding to complaints and feedback.
- Essential:
- RSCN, RN (Child), RGN, RNLD & RMN with a proven track record of paediatric competency.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience, with previous significant health experience considered.
- Desirable:
- Community Nursing Experience.
- Palliative care qualification.
Derian House Children's Hospice is rated Outstanding by the CQC. We provide symptom management, palliative, and end-of-life care, as well as short break respite care, to babies, children, young people, and their families across Lancashire, South Cumbria, and Greater Manchester.
