Job Summary:

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary is seeking an experienced HR professional to join our People and Development function as a Senior HR Advisor within the Policy and Reward team. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment contributing to people services reward related projects and implementing HR policies, procedures, and guidance that support the Constabulary's strategies and priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a thorough understanding of the organisation and contribute to policy and reward related projects.
  • Lead on a variety of projects, engaging with key stakeholders, and ensuring outcomes are delivered in a timely manner and in line with organisational priorities, policy, and legislative requirements.
  • Effective communication skills, previous experience in a policy and reward related role, and knowledge of IT systems, including SAP, and reporting and analytical skills are desirable.
  • Education to QCF Level 6 or equivalent work experience and a Level 7 CIPD qualification or equivalent experience to MCIPD level are required.
  • Applicants must undergo and maintain appropriate vetting to carry out the full duties of the role.

Working Arrangements:

The role is contractually based at HIOWC's Strategic Headquarters in Eastleigh, with hybrid working available. Applicants must be aware that there will be a requirement to travel to policing sites within Hampshire and Isle of Wight as required.
