About the Role:



Winner Education is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team in an independent school that provides special educational needs placements. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with additional needs and contributing to their educational and personal development.



Key Responsibilities:





  • Support Hub Manager and Lead Teachers with planning, preparation, and assessment of the curriculum.

  • Assist with pick-up and drop-off of students, requiring a valid driving licence.

  • Act as a role model for Teaching Assistants and embody the Company's values and professional behaviours.

  • Carry out additional duties as reasonably requested by the Hub Manager and be responsible for your own continuous professional development.



Requirements:



To be successful in this role, you must:





  • Have at least two years' experience working with SEN children, young people, or vulnerable adults within an education setting.

  • Demonstrate experience of working with and developing effective resources for young people with additional needs.

  • Hold a relevant minimum qualification of Level 2 or demonstrate previous experience as an unqualified teaching assistant.

  • Demonstrate passion for ensuring each student achieves their true potential.
