Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant - Challenging Behaviour Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at GSL Education. The successful candidate will have a strong background in supporting children with challenging behaviour, SEMH, and Autism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualised behaviour interventions to children with challenging behaviour
  • Work on a 1:1 basis with children who have complex needs
  • Support children with SEMH and Autism in a classroom setting
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement behaviour plans

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with challenging behaviour, SEMH, and Autism
  • Strong knowledge of behaviour intervention strategies
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Clear Enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service
