SEN Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Winner Education. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of an innovative and flexible curriculum to students with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Hub Manager and Lead Teachers with planning, preparation, and assessment of the curriculum.
  • Teach on a 1:1 and/or small group sessions as required.
  • Pick up and drop off students (valid driving licence required).
  • Contribute to the development of the school by supporting curriculum and development strand leads.
  • Encourage learner involvement in decision-making and programme management.
  • Be a role model for Teaching Assistants and embody the company's values and professional behaviours.

Requirements:

  • At least two years' experience working with SEN children, young people, or vulnerable adults in an education setting.
  • Experience of developing effective resources for young people with additional needs.
  • Relevant minimum qualification of Level 2 or previous experience as an unqualified teaching assistant.
  • Passion for ensuring each student achieves their full potential.
