Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant - Challenging Behaviour Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at GSL Education. The successful candidate will have a strong background in supporting children with challenging behaviour, Autism, and Social Emotional and Mental Health needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualised behaviour interventions to children with challenging behaviour
  • Work on a 1:1 basis with children who have been through the care system
  • Ensure the child's safety at all times
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to develop and implement behaviour plans

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with challenging behaviour and Autism
  • Strong knowledge of behaviour management strategies
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Clear Enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service
