We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Academics Ltd. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with Special Educational Needs in a temporary capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized support to children with SEN, promoting their academic and personal growth.
- Assist teachers in lesson planning, preparation, and delivery, ensuring a tailored learning experience for students.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs), ensuring students receive targeted support.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications and experience in supporting children with SEN.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meet the needs of the school and students.
- Knowledge of SEN legislation, policies, and procedures, with a commitment to inclusive practice.
