We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Academics Ltd. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with Special Educational Needs in a temporary capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide individualized support to children with SEN, promoting their academic and personal growth.
  2. Assist teachers in lesson planning, preparation, and delivery, ensuring a tailored learning experience for students.
  3. Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.
  4. Contribute to the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs), ensuring students receive targeted support.
  5. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and experience in supporting children with SEN.

  • Knowledge of SEN legislation, policies, and procedures, with a commitment to inclusive practice.
