Key Responsibilities

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the company, ensuring that all contracts and support services operate in line with company service, financial and values expectations.

Key Performance Indicators

The incumbent is expected to:

  • Ensure accurate reporting of site operational performance compared to budgetary expectations.
  • Act as a Line Manager for the Contract Managers, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Support the recruitment process of sub-contractors, ensuring that they operate in an ethical and professional manner.
  • Identify and resolve driver non-compliance issues, ensuring that all contracts and sub-contractors meet company standards.

People Management

The role holder is responsible for managing relevant staff activities, including ensuring that all contractual processes are being met, leading specific projects as agreed with the MD, and developing new operating methods to deliver commercial benefits.

Key Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a customer service focused attitude, a driving license, and the ability to work 45 hours per week over an average of 5 days a week.

Reports to

The Operations Manager reports directly to the MD.
