Warehouse Operations Manager

**Job Summary**
The Recruitment Co is seeking an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join our client, an international manufacturer based in the UK. As a key member of the operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of warehouse staff and overseeing the day-to-day activities of the warehouse.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Coaching, training, and developing employees to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their roles effectively.
- Conducting team-based accident/incident investigations and implementing measures to prevent future incidents.
- Ensuring safe working practices are adhered to and maintaining a safe working environment at all times.
- Supporting the development and oversight of the continuous improvement process to increase productivity and efficiency.
- Managing the team to monitor and improve working methods, including planning and organizing warehouse functions to be carried out in a timely and effective manner.
- Supporting the implementation of operational and logistics internal policies and procedures for continuous improvement.
- Managing external contractors via the permit to work process and working in collaboration with internal stakeholders to address topical issues.
**Requirements**
- Good secondary education or time-served equivalent.
- Previous experience in a management role, preferably in the manufacturing environment, for a minimum of 3 years.
- People management skills and experience of working in a team environment.
