Warehouse Operations Manager

Job Summary
The Recruitment Co. is seeking an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join our client's team in Bolton. As a key member of the operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of warehouse staff and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
- Coach, train, and develop employees to improve performance and achieve business objectives.
- Conduct investigations into accidents and incidents, and implement measures to prevent future occurrences.
- Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and procedures.
- Support the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and efficiency.
- Plan and organize warehouse functions to meet business needs, including managing staff and resources.
- Implement and maintain operational policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Manage external contractors and third-party service providers to ensure timely and efficient execution of warehouse operations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address operational issues and improve business outcomes.
Requirements
- Good secondary education or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience in a management role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- People management skills and ability to lead a team.
- Experience with SAP and hand-held scanner systems is an advantage.
