Job Summary:

The Recruitment Co. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our warehouse, ensuring that all operations are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coaching and developing employees to improve performance and productivity
  • Conducting investigations into accidents and incidents, and implementing measures to prevent future occurrences
  • Ensuring a safe working environment and maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Supporting the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives
  • Managing and coordinating warehouse activities, including planning and organizing tasks, and supervising staff
  • Implementing and maintaining operational policies and procedures, including site safety strategies, material flow analysis, and transport coordination
  • Managing external contractors and third-party service providers
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to address operational issues and improve processes

Requirements:

  • Good secondary education or equivalent
  • Experience in a management role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • People management skills and ability to coach and develop employees
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma and LEAN principles
  • Previous experience in the metal industry is preferred
