We are seeking an experienced IT Technician to join our team at Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People. As our first point of contact for IT technical support, you will be responsible for managing our internal IT systems, including hardware, operating systems, and software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain software and hardware components of computer and network systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware issues.
- Provide technical support to staff and stakeholders.
- Complete onboarding and offboarding requirements to ensure equipment is provided/reclaimed, new starters have the correct access, and leavers' accounts are disabled.
- Have a strong understanding of the Microsoft Office suite, including Teams, SharePoint, and portal administration.
- Work through your own ticket queue to SLA requirements.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of a Level 3 Advanced Diploma in ICT Systems Support or equivalent.
- Extensive experience of working in a large organisation supporting IT services.
- Strong knowledge of PC hardware, operating systems, and applications software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
