About the Role
">We are seeking a highly skilled Contract and Procurement Specialist to join our team at Peak Safety Services Limited. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to take on a challenging role in the construction industry.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing contracts and procuring materials, ensuring compliance with Company procedures to best value and prevent delays. A Full Clean driving licence is essential as frequent travel will be required for this role.

- Main Responsibilities:
- Procure materials and services, ensuring compliance with Company procedures to best value and prevent delays.
- Coordinate the administration of contracts, ensuring timely completion and initiation.
- Develop and monitor a commercial plan and end of life forecast, guaranteeing the successful commercial delivery of projects.
- Implement and review the risk management process, ensuring accurate risk registers and effective risk controls.
- Conduct regular reviews of CVRs with project teams, implementing necessary actions to maintain project momentum.
- Manage temporary and permanent design effectively, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
- Set high standards of leadership, promoting HS&E procedures and best practices, ensuring compliance with Company procedures and legal obligations.
- Assign HS&E responsibilities and duties to site personnel, providing necessary training and ensuring understanding.
- Liaise with third-party stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Participate in tendering processes, contributing to programme development, methodologies, quality submissions, and post-tender interviews.
- Implement Environmental and Health & Safety Management procedures.
- Develop the Risk Register, identifying mitigation measures and implementing them throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with the Contracts Planner to develop Contract Programmes, Construction Programmes, and methodologies, communicating with site management.
About You:
">To succeed in this position, you must possess extensive experience in contract management and procurement within the construction industry. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, along with a Full Clean driving licence and flexibility with working hours.
The estimated salary for this Contract and Procurement Specialist role is £41,000 per annum.
