Building Cost Control Specialist

We are seeking a Building Cost Control Specialist to join our team at Nationwide Specialist Projects Limited.
You will be responsible for managing costs associated with multiple projects across the organisation whilst ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Prepare interim valuations and final accounts
- Certify Subcontractor and supplier payments in accordance with contract terms
- Assess and agree on variations and change orders with clients and subcontractors
- Produce and send applications for payment to clients
- Provide financial input and support to projects teams
- Attend site meetings to monitor progress and address commercial concerns
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms, industry standards and regulations
- Maintain detailed records of all commercial activities and prepare regular reports for senior management
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related field
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the Mechanical and Electrical sector
- Excellent understanding of contract law and standard forms of contract
Expected salary for this position is around £70,000-£90,000 annually. A competitive benefits package includes bonuses, professional development opportunities and more.
