About the Job

This role involves overseeing all Permanent Way aspects of construction and associated works, ensuring timely completion, quality, and safety standards are met.


The successful candidate will have experience in managing teams and co-ordinating multiple projects simultaneously.


This position requires strong communication and leadership skills to work effectively with other disciplines and stakeholders.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating Permanent Way aspects of construction and associated works
  • Delivering construction work safely and to quality standards
  • Managing team performance and providing guidance where necessary

The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, be able to adapt to changing circumstances, and maintain accurate records.


Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a relevant field (e.g., construction management, engineering)
  • Proven experience in managing teams and coordinating construction projects
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role is essential.
