Railway Systems Manager

We are looking for a highly skilled Railway Systems Manager to join our team at ENGINEERINGUK.
As a Railway Systems Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all projects within the national programme comply with legislation, Railway Group and Network Rail company standards.
You will lead and manage the use of appropriate engineering standards in relation to design and construction on all projects, and monitor the competence of all Project Engineers working on projects within the functional discipline.
Main Responsibilities- Leading Engineering Teams: You will lead and manage engineering teams to deliver a cost-effective, high-quality, and safe approach to design, construction, commissioning, and other technical activities on relevant projects.
- Developing Engineering Standards: You will develop and implement engineering standards and procedures to ensure compliance with legislation, Railway Group and Network Rail company standards.
- Coordinating Risk Assessments: You will coordinate risk assessments and HAZOP analyses to ensure that environmental aspects of all projects are managed in accordance with Network Rail Environmental Policy.
- Significant Experience in Signalling: You should have significant experience in Signalling, ideally with involvement in construction and design projects across multi-discipline areas.
- Strong Technical Knowledge: You should have strong technical knowledge of engineering standards and procedures.
- Leadership Skills: You should have excellent leadership skills to manage engineering teams effectively.
The estimated salary for this role is £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on your experience.
