We are seeking a talented Systems Engineer Apprentice to join our dynamic team in support of our business growth. As part of the Operations Engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in developing and managing a cutting-edge, world-class manufacturing facility.

About the Role

You will be responsible for monitoring and diagnosing plant and equipment, ensuring the process runs safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company policy and regulatory standards.

You will have the opportunity to work closely with a diverse group of experts, including Process Engineers, Process Development Engineering, and Controls/PLC Specialists. This is your chance to build on your expertise, broaden your skill set, and grow professionally in a fast-paced manufacturing and engineering environment.

As a Systems Engineer Apprentice, you will be involved in the operation and management of a high-volume processing facility. You will monitor and track real-time data, alarms, and trends to detect anomalies or deviations from routine operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operation and management of a high-volume processing facility
  • Monitoring and diagnosis of plant and equipment
  • Observing and operating control panels, including SCADA systems, CCTV, and other monitoring systems
  • Tracking real-time data, alarms, and trends
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Science/Engineering degree, HNC/HND, or equivalent; or time-served apprenticeship in the process industry
  • Awareness and exposure to PLC and HMI systems

Salary: £52,665 (inclusive of 25% shift allowance)
