Learning and Development Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Learning and Development Manager to join our team at Slaughter and May. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering training programs to support the firm's business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and deliver training programs for legal, skills, business, and interpersonal skills to populations across the firm.
- Oversee the design and delivery of legal training programs for trainees, associates, and partners.
- Support the design and delivery of client training initiatives and flagship programs.
- Design and deliver innovative legal and skills training resources, including blended learning courses using digital technology and e-learning tools.
- Monitor the effectiveness and impact of our training programs.
- Act as a business partner and trusted adviser for designated legal and/or business services groups, helping to identify and support their training and development needs.
- Experience in the design and delivery of technical and/or skills training, possibly with a legal qualification.
- A degree-level education with a legal, psychology, organizational development, or instructional design background.
- L&D experience gained within a professional services firm or law school environment would be advantageous.
- Experience in partnering with stakeholders within a business to identify and address organizational development needs, gaps, and opportunities.
- Ability to develop strong collaborative relationships with stakeholders across the firm, using these to provide targeted learning interventions across the business.
- Proven ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple deliverables within a tight timeframe and deliver high-quality work.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written, spoken, and presentational.
- Strong attention to detail and good use of grammar.
- Proactive approach to defining needs and delivering solutions.
- Creative and solutions-focused with an interest in industry trends and best practice.
- Experience of producing blended learning programs making use of digital tools to enhance the learning experience.
- An interest in the emerging benefits of AI on organizational development.
