Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at Empowering Learning. The successful candidate will have a strong passion for supporting students with additional needs and have experience working within education or care.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the teacher within the classroom, working 1:1, in small groups and general classroom tasks.
- Assist in managing challenging behaviour and providing a safe and supportive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with the teaching team to develop and implement individualized education plans.
Requirements
- Previous experience working within education or care.
- Strong passion for supporting students with additional needs.
- Ability to manage challenging behaviour and work collaboratively with the teaching team.
