About the Role

Zest Education Ltd is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join a special educational needs school in Coventry. The school focuses on providing a nurturing environment for students aged 5-19 with social, emotional, and mental health needs, as well as other learning requirements.

As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting students on a one-to-one basis and in small groups. The emphasis is on fostering independence and life skills to prepare our students for a successful transition into adult life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support students with diverse needs in a special educational needs school
  • Foster independence and life skills in students
  • Collaborate closely with staff and students to create a positive learning environment

Requirements

Recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum)

Enhanced DBS check and registration to the DBS Update Service

References to cover the last two years

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications
