We are seeking a skilled Project Management Lead to join our team at Roke, a world-class engineering and technology company. In this role, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects, combining comprehensive project oversight with a focus on deployment planning and execution.

The ideal candidate will have relevant Project Management qualifications, SAFe/Agile certifications, background in military operations, and a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience. They will also have direct experience in deployment planning and execution within a Defence or military environment, understanding of military G3 Operations & Deployment, familiarity with project management and deployment tools, strong communication and leadership skills, and a track record of embedding in customer sites and building strong, collaborative relationships to drive deployment success.

You will be expected to serve as an embedded deployment lead within customer sites, leading and executing the deployment plan, planning deployment timelines and activities, establishing a framework for tracking deployment metrics and performance indicators, leading and overseeing the day-to-day execution of deployment activities, coordinating deployment activities across all project teams, identifying potential conflicts or challenges in deployment, and facilitating team communication throughout deployment stages.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Serving as an embedded deployment lead within customer sites
  • Leading and executing the deployment plan
  • Planning deployment timelines and activities
  • Establishing a framework for tracking deployment metrics and performance indicators
  • Leading and overseeing the day-to-day execution of deployment activities
  • Coordinating deployment activities across all project teams
  • Identifying potential conflicts or challenges in deployment
  • Facilitating team communication throughout deployment stages
