Maritime Systems Engineer

Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Maritime Systems Engineer to join our team in Barrow-in-Furness. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe delivery of complex maritime systems.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Support the production of the safety Build Assurance Justification.
- Review and ascertain the appropriateness of Safety Arguments and Evidence.
- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure that the platform is being built to design intent.
Requirements
- You will have strong programme management skills and experience working in a similar role.
- Prior experience in build assurance or maritime platforms of complex systems is required.
- You should have good knowledge of technical risk management and governance procedures.
- A degree in a STEM subject is a must.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this role is estimated to be between £50,000 - £60,000, dependent on experience. You will also receive a range of benefits, including a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance, and access to flexible working arrangements.
