Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Safety Assurance Specialist to join our team in Barrow-in-Furness. As a key member of our Safety Team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of our maritime systems.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced individual to take on a challenging role in the delivery of complex systems. You will be responsible for supporting the production of the safety Build Assurance Justification, reviewing and ascertaining the appropriateness of Safety Arguments and Evidence, and liaising with stakeholders to ensure that the platform is being built to design intent.

Your Skills and Experience

  • You will have strong stakeholder management skills and experience working with senior teams.
  • Programme management experience is also essential.
  • Prior experience in build assurance or maritime platforms of complex systems is required.
  • You should have good knowledge of technical risk management and governance procedures.
  • A degree in a STEM subject is a must.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £55,000, dependent on experience. You will also receive a range of benefits, including a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance, and access to flexible working arrangements.
