We are seeking a highly skilled and qualified Teacher of English to join our team at Clarus Education Ltd. This is an exciting opportunity to work with students and staff in a popular, oversubscribed school that values staff progression.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Key Stage 3 and 4 English, with opportunities to contribute to curriculum development and staff training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons to students
  • To develop and implement effective strategies for differentiation and student support
  • To contribute to the development of the English curriculum and schemes of work
  • To provide high-quality teacher training and mentorship to colleagues

Requirements:

  • A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent)
  • Experience of teaching English in a secondary school setting
  • Strong subject knowledge and pedagogical expertise
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

What We Offer:

Salary: £60,000 - £90,000 per annum (Inner London MPR/UPR)
