We are seeking a highly skilled Child Protection Specialist Lead to join our team at Ackerman Pierce Ltd. This role requires a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience in children and families work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To lead the development and implementation of effective child protection strategies within the organization.
  • To provide supervision and guidance to social workers and students, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively manage child protection cases.
  • To collaborate with other professionals, such as law enforcement and healthcare providers, to ensure comprehensive support for vulnerable children and families.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience in children and families work.
  • DipSW/CQSW equivalent qualification.
  • Literacy and numeracy skills to the required level.
  • Ability to chair meetings involving service users and other professionals.
  • Good organizational skills, including budget management.

Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
