Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assume technical lead for projects, supporting Systems and other Systems Engineers on all company projects.
  • Produce block diagrams, system schematics, bill of materials, and cable schedules.
  • Program PLC, HMI & Scada Systems.
  • Produce technical documentation, including manuals and test procedures.
  • Travel worldwide to commission systems on board various vessels.
  • Follow schedules and tasks assigned by the Systems Engineering Manager.

About the Role:

  • HNC / Degree Level in Electronic Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
  • Knowledge of PLC and Scada based Software packages and environment.
  • Controls, Automation, Electrical and Electronics System Integration.
  • Structured programming languages.
  • CAD software, preferably Visio and E-Plan Electric P8.
  • Industrial communication protocols.
  • PLC programming using IEC 61131-3 programming languages.
  • Ship systems including automation, power, propulsion, navigation, and communications within the marine industry.
  • Ability to lead and work well within a team, demonstrating initiative and working without supervision.
  • Competent in computer technology and Ethernet network experience.
