The Role As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for leading a team of maintenance technicians with the aim of progressing to a Supervisory role. Your duties will include confidently fault-finding on electrical components such as sensors, safety relays, photocells, inverters, performing electrical installations, upgrading cabinets etc.
- Fault finding on PLCs such as Siemens S7
- Swapping out mechanical components like for like such as bearings, gearboxes, casing screws, conveyor belts etc.
- Working on conveyors, palletisers, mixers, bagging machines, packaging machines etc.
About You The ideal candidate will have a recognised electrical qualification, experience working effectively within or leading a team and the desire to be upskilled, leading to Supervisory/Management role in the future. A sound understanding of key electrical components is also essential.
