Student Support Specialist

We are looking for a Student Support Specialist to provide one-to-one tuition to young people with complex special educational needs.
The successful candidate will be working with students who have SEMH and ASD needs, delivering sessions in English and Maths within their home or public setting.
The majority of students are disengaged from education and may not be on a school roll.
Each student requires a set number of hours per week, which can be flexible depending on individual needs.
Students may exhibit behaviour difficulties and require adapted teaching methods.
Key RequirementsYou will need:
- Experience working with students with SEMH and ASD needs
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual students' needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
This part-time 1:1 Tutor position offers:
- Location: Medway
- Position: 1:1 Tutor

- Full time/part-time: Part-time, various hours Monday to Friday
- Salary: £22-£32 per hour based on location
