Senior Substance Misuse Practitioner: HMP Fosse Way

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Substance Misuse Practitioner to join our team at HMP Fosse Way. As a key member of our Offender Health Directorate, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality substance misuse services to prisoners.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the delivery of substance misuse services in HMP Fosse Way, working closely with a multi-disciplinary team to provide care to patients with complex substance misuse problems.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for individuals with substance misuse issues, working towards harm reduction and health promotion/recovery agendas.
- Provide leadership and guidance to junior staff, ensuring high standards of care are maintained.
- Collaborate with prison services, national probation service, and other healthcare providers to improve health outcomes and reduce re-offending behavior.
