Maintenance Assistant

The Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHSFT is seeking a skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our estates department. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive estates maintenance service across our estate portfolio.
About the Role:
The post holder will be a skilled operative with a strong background in building maintenance or engineering. You will work closely with our estates management team to ensure compliance with Trust standards, procedures, and legislation.
Main Responsibilities:
- Undertake routine and statutory maintenance tasks on building systems, water compliance, and building fabric maintenance.
- Utilize the CAFM system to record data, complete job sheets, reports, and inspection sheets.
- Interprets and follows regulations at all times and immediately notifies Estates Management of any deviation from the regulations.
Requirements:
- NVQ/City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in one or more estates disciplines.
- Previous work experience in a building or engineering discipline.
- Good communication and IT skills.
