Job Title: Maintenance Assistant - Building Services

Estimated salary: £23,000-£26,000 per year.

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our estates team at the Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHSFT. The successful candidate will have a strong background in building maintenance or engineering and be able to work independently to deliver a comprehensive estates maintenance service.

About the Role:

The post holder will be responsible for undertaking routine and statutory maintenance tasks on building systems, water compliance, and building fabric maintenance. They will work closely with our estates management team to ensure compliance with Trust standards, procedures, and legislation.

Main Responsibilities:

- Undertake minor repair works and general maintenance activities at the request of the Estates Management team.
- Carry out routine planned preventative maintenance (PPM) inspections in accordance with Trust procedures on Water Systems and services.
- Utilize the Trust's CAFM system to record data, complete job sheets, reports, and inspection sheets.

Requirements:

- NVQ/City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in one or more estates disciplines.
- Previous work experience in a building or engineering discipline.
- Good communication and IT skills.
