Job Description

This is a challenging opportunity for a skilled Maintenance Operations Specialist to join our team at Intertape Polymer Group (IPG). As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of our manufacturing equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Equipment Installation: Assist with the installation of new equipment and machinery, including leveling, alignment, and connection of services.
  • Inventories and Supplies: Manage and maintain accurate records of equipment, parts, and supplies inventories.
  • Condition Monitoring: Regularly inspect equipment to identify potential issues and perform condition monitoring activities to determine wear and tear.
  • Technical Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest technical developments and advancements in the field through continuing professional development.

Qualifications:

  • HNC or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
  • 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance or a related field.

Requirements:

  • Mechanical installation and fitting skills.
  • Electrical installations and wiring knowledge.
  • Practical experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical/electronic motion control systems.
  • Knowledge of PLC systems and ability to interrogate, identify, and correct errors.
  • Familiarity with industrial robotics and web handling experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
