Higher National Certificate in Electrical Power Protection

We're offering a unique opportunity for talented individuals to gain a Higher National Certificate in Electrical Power Protection through our three-year Higher Apprenticeship Substations program. This program will provide you with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in this challenging and rewarding field.

In this role, you'll learn about testing equipment, safety protocols, system protection and control, substation refurbishment, maintenance, technical support, problem diagnosis, and fault fixing. By the end of the programme, you'll hold a Level 4 Higher National Certificate in Electrical power protection and plant commissioning.

The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong understanding of electrical systems. Academic excellence is not the only requirement; we want people who are passionate about engineering and committed to their development.

The estimated salary for this role is £29,819 per annum. We offer a range of benefits, including:
