Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team in servicing and maintaining industrial battery chargers and their related battery packs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, including fault-finding and repair techniques, as well as experience working with distribution network operators and SLA, NiCD, and Plante batteries.

The successful candidate will be responsible for organising and completing service visits according to manufacturer recommendations, positioning, installing, and commissioning equipment at customer sites, repairing equipment, and advising Head Office of any sales opportunities identified during duties. They will also be required to promote the company and act in a professional and diplomatic manner at all times.

Requirements
  • Excellent electrical fault-finding skills.
  • Experience working with distribution network operators.
  • Knowledge of SLA, NiCD, and Plante batteries.
  • Ability to work with various power systems, including UPS, backup power supplies, and emergency lighting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
