About the Role

University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join our team at Heartlands Hospital. This is a unique opportunity to work in a busy pharmacy environment with high volume dispensing, and to contribute to the delivery of care from our automated pharmacies.

Main Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safe, efficient, and effective delivery of all aspects of the pharmacy services delivered by Pharmacy@UHB in Heartlands Hospital.
  • Contribute to the development of a high-quality and timely pharmacy service for patients.
  • Develop effective working relationships with colleagues and contribute to the efficient management and administration of the business.
  • Work collaboratively and supportively with the pharmacy manager/superintendent to achieve shared goals.

Requirements

  • Experience in a busy pharmacy environment with high volume dispensing.
  • Flexibility to work regular weekend shifts, with the possibility of additional weekday shifts.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and supportively with colleagues.
